F5 Branding Co. began with two frustrated baseball parents. Our two sons play travel baseball, and season after season we hit the same wall: fanwear was impossible to find — or it arrived weeks after the season started.
So one season, we made our own sweatshirts. Other parents saw them and wanted their own. Then more asked, and we realized this wasn't just our problem.
The idea was Melissa's — a full year before the company existed. In October 2023, we made it official, first under the name JMT Designs.
John built our first website and grew the young company from the cab of his work truck, between road construction inspections. Hoodies and t-shirts came first. Then customers kept asking, "Can you make this too?"
Today, as F5 Branding Co., we produce custom apparel, jerseys, print, signage, and promotional products from our home base in Chapin — for teams, schools, and businesses across Columbia, West Columbia, Lexington, and Irmo, shipped nationwide.
The name means two things. On your keyboard, F5 is the refresh key — renewal, reloading a brand sharper and faster than before. On the Fujita scale, an F5 is the strongest tornado there is. Put them together and that's the promise: we refresh your brand with force.
